ADD MY LAUNDRY TIP

Our favorite November tips from folks like you:

I am a 26 year old mother of three and I know how much money laundry can cost you in everything. I use the clothesline as much as possible because I love the smell of the fresh crisp clothes that has been flapping in the wind with a little touch of sunshine on them. The smell combined with the free drying source I can not beat and I do at least 2 to 3 loads a day depending on the blankets and pants. I love using Tide, Downy and the clothesline. I would not change a thing. Thank you for your advice in Tide how to dry. I love it all.

I have been drying my clothes outside since I had my first house. I got it from my grandmother. I always loved how white my grandfather's shirts were and how nice they smelled! I also love the fact that I'm doing something "green" and saving a lot of energy. Here is a tip if you don't want to bend hangers over the line, just use a clothespin to keep the hanger where it is. If you are afraid the clothes might fall off the hanger, use a clothes pin to clip the clothes to the hanger too!

Lyn L.,

If you have those wash and wear bras I have a great tip. Never put one in the dryer, but CLOSE THE BACK OR FRONT CLOSURE. this will prevent pulls and snags on them and other items in the wash.
