I've swtiched from using Tide twice in my life and have always returned. I don't think that a good product should be changed time and again by adding this and that or trying to keep up with what other companies are doing to their products such as adding different fragrances, acti-lift, etc.

I didn't notice any more stains coming out than normal. It smells good and cleans the clothes well like Tide always does. It isn't any worse than other formulas of Tide. Just nothing super special to me. I also tried the tabs you can put in your laundry to "boost" and they didn't work either. Tide still smells the best though :)

The Acti-Lift formula works really great. My husband is a mechanic and I use the one that has the Febreeze scent in it.

This product is what I have been waiting for! I loved Tide for 30 years and now that it has no perfumes or fragrance it is even better as my allergies have increased as I have aged. Hence the change in laundry detergents and lo and behold Tide has progressed as well to a changing consumer!!! They have kept up with the times and am so very thankful of this because I wouldn't want to change ever!!!

Thank you so much for coming out with a "free" version for high efficiency washers. I was just told by the allergist yesterday that I had to change all my products from shampoo, body lotions, hand soaps and laundry products, etc., to free and sensitive products. I knew I had seen a "free" liquid softener before, but didn't know anything was available for He machines. I have just purchased my first high efficiency bottle of Tide Free. I plan on pulling out all of the rest of my non-free items and donating them.

I have had problems with detergents for years and having one that does not have perfumes and dyes in it saves me from rashes. The liquid form ensures that I don't get that powder residue left in my clothes that always made me itch. I do have one complaint, the stores in my area have stopped stocking the liquid and are now only stocking the powder.

This product is extremely fragrant - it took multiple wash cycles to get the smell of the tide product out of the clothes washer. It did nothing to eliminate any musty smell. I threw the rest away! A waste of money.

To those who have been finding clumps in their detergent dispenser after using this product: depending on your type of HE machine, you have to move a little plastic divider in the dispenser compartment for POWDER, if you usually use liquids. Treat this product as you would a Powder detergent and it works like a charm. LOVE this product and the fresh, non musty way it leaves my machine!!

My washing machine has had a smelly sock like odor for a while....just tried the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner for the first time and have noticed an improvement....PLEASE lower the price. This product is just too expensive!!!

I have used almost everyone of Tide's laundry products and I am sold.......My Mother used Tide and I won't use anything else, my children use it too. It makes my laundry smell clean and fresh, everytime.

Gets better with each load! I have used Tide all my life and it just gets better and better!

I have used Tide with fabreeze for a couple of years now. I have recommended it to my friends. (who by the way switched). I love the smell and it makes everything smell clean. When I get into bed or snuggle with a blanket it adds cozyness as well. LOVE IT!!!

I picked up an ink jet printer at work and did not realize that the ink was leaking out of it. Needless to say I had 3 very large ink stains on the front of a very expensive cotton sweater. I immediately took the sweater to the cleaners and they were unable to remove the spots. Since the sweater was cotton I decided to try Tide Stain Release, to my delight all but a small spot about the size of a small pea came out even after the sweater had been dry cleaned. I wore the sweater and washed it again using the Tide Stain Release and the rest of the spot came out. This product does everything is says it will.

Tide Stain Release is a waste of time, money and packaging!!! Tide with Dawn was a superior product but I can no longer find it in stores. I was told by a P&G representative that it's available at Home Depot. Why should anyone have to go to a home improvement store to get laundry detergent???? My time is valuable! I have found that a small amount of Dawn dish detergent added along with Tide is a far better solution to stains than Tide Stain release. I am also surprised and disappointed that P&G would choose to use two containers instead of one in light of its alleged commitment to environmental concerns.

Ok, here the real deal!!!! I had cooking oil spots on 5 red Ralph Lauren Polo Knit Polo shirt. They actually where in the trash. I went to the local grocery store and saw this product it is normally 7.99 and the store had it on sale for 4.99. I thought well what the heck, I am sure it won't work but it is only 5 bucks! Holy Cow!!! It cleaned them! I was quite surprised it came, out they have been washed and dried several times, with everything from shout advance, sprayin wash with resolve, remi, oil and stain remover by carbone, you name it I tried it. I just put on capful of the liquid and one scoop of the power (bought them both! both on sale 4.99 ) Set the washer for the "SuperWash stain cycle" 2 hours later, spotless! I am washing some other things that spots I will let you know! AJ
