The new 2x bottle does not fit well in my storage areas under my front loading washer and dryer. The bottle needs to be a little shorter like it used to be.

How’s Tide Stain Release working for you?
Read people’s take on the new in-wash booster from Tide.
Having grown up in a "Tide only" household, I've been trying various other brands of detergent in my own adulthood, but still keep coming back to Tide. We bought our first front-loader a few months ago and were impressed with the HE products Tide provides, especially the WASHER CLEANER (thank you Tide!). One problem we continued to have though was the towels we use for our dogs. They sleep on them, play with them, get dried off from a bath with them and...well you can imagine what else happens on them every now and again. Even with the great Tide detergent and the new front-loader, we could not seem to get the "dog smell" out of the towels. Since only the dogs use the towels, it shouldn't be a big deal but with that smell, they just didn't seem as clean as they should be. I had seen a few ads for the new TIDE STAIN RELEASE and didn't really give it much though with regard to our "smell" issue. But then I walked into Target the other day and saw a big display of your new product. I read the packaging and thought, "well why not, let's see if it will work". Admittedly, I was more than skeptical but also had run out of other ideas. I came home and ran a load, putting the powder STAIN RELEASE in the "pre-wash" compartment and running a pre-wash cycle (not sure if that was the proper way or not) wih the regular wash cycle. Transferred the clean towels to the dryer and crossed my fingers. When the load was dry, I was surprised, shocked, amazed at how clean and FRESH the towels smelled! It was a miracle right there in my own laundry room! Keep in mind the towels were not stained but were smelly, and TIDE STAIN RELEASE really did the job to erase the smell! Thank you TIDE! There is only one thing that I had a problem with and that was the packaging. More specifically, the label and pull cap. Having purchased the powder version of the product, I got home and pulled the top part off to open the package and get to work. Imagine my horror when I realized that the instructions were on the part you tear off (who thought of that??? - bad idea!). I logged into tide.com and couldn't find any usage instructions there either so ended up having to go back out to my garbage and dig through to find the part of the label I had torn off with the instructions on it. Additionally, opening the internal cap to dispense the product was rather difficult. I had trouble with it at 44, so I can imagine someone older being completely unable to open the cap. The small "pull tab" is TOO small and there is nothing to grab onto to pull it. There is a small loop which I guess is supposed to be used to open it but it isn't a big enough opening to put your finger in and get a good grip on it to tear it out. So although you have created another great product, I would suggest you make a few adjustments to the packaging. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! Great job Tide!
I cant say weather or not it removes anything, other than the color of my clothes. I am NEVER going to buy this "COLOR REMOVER" again. Think again before you buy.
I bought this when it first hit the shelves, thankfully I had a "Big Cents Off" coupon. Who knew it would be so pricey for not a lot of washloads. It did work well, but I'll have to think about buying this product again.
Do you get up and go with Tide to Go?
Hear what people are saying about America’s #1 instant stain remover.**
I absolutely love my tide pen. I always make sure i have a loaded pen in my purse- you never know when you will need it. But if you dont have it you'll be wishing you did..always. It has never hurt any of my clothes- only helped! Would recommend to anyone for any accident. it wouldnt let me give the product a 5
I have a Brooks Brothers Dress shirt that I spilled some salsa on. I used Tide to Go the stain is gone but I have circles where the Tide to Go was applied. Tide to Go has discolored my shirt and in natural light is clearly visible. I would not use this product on anything important. I read about the wedding dress I guess they got lucky!
I've been using the Tide stick for a few years now. For most stains, it really does do a terrific job. lots of time even getting pen out of shirts! BUT..... beware of using it on a white shirt, then going out into the sun. IT WILL TURN YELLOW FOREVER! i've ruined many a shirt with this little stick, not knowing that the sun was the cause of the yellowing after using it (i just now read their disclaimer about wiping the area with a damp cloth.) my suggestion....just dont go in the sun if you're wearing a white shirt and use the stick. otherwise, its a pretty good tool if you're prone to drips and anything else that can get on your clothes!
Considering Tide Coldwater this season?
See what others are saying about washing in cold.
I also have been using Tide for over 30+yr, now that there is a cold water Tide, GREAT, do you think you can have it in original scent, like that one the best, hard to find, an excellent cleaning soap for coldwater, keep up the great coldwater soap
im srending this regarding your product i purshed recently the liquid detergent was very watery and did not bring my clothes clean i love your product and will continue using but thought you should know thank you from a concerned customer
I tool love the Tide coldwater, but I can't find it!! Especially in the powder which I prefer. The few times I have found it, it works awesome. I have 3 boys so that says alot.
How does Tide HE work with your machine?
Read what these high-efficiency users have to say.
This product does work great on cleaning my clothes; however, I have never been a fan of the original scent and that is all I can ever find in the stores. Tide needs to offer more scents and variety in the HE formulas!
As others have suggested, it would be great if there was more contrast in the cap color for easier measuring. Also, how about changing the shape of the bottle, make it shorter so it will fit upright in the pedestal drawer of a front load machine. I spent the big $$ to get the pedestals, and I'd sure love to store my detergent there. (I don't trust laying it on its side)
My new front loader has a drawer on the front that I have to pour the detergent into. I have always used the Tide with the faucet dispenser, so bought the 96-load Tide Ultra HE. Other reviews are right - using the cap to measure and pour was kind of messy - I managed to slosh the detergent all over the place. Almost immediately, I realized that I did not need the measuring cap. I hold the bottle by the handle, loosen the blue cap, hold the "faucet" over the detergent drawer, and dispense directly into the drawer, filling to the proper mark for the size load I'm doing. It allows for very precise dispensing, and the large bottle is surprisingly easy to hold, even when full. I store the bottle upright and have no dripping issues.
