Ever get sick of the browns, grays, and blacks that come with fall fashion? Apparently, so have the trendsetters behind fall ‘09’s color palette. This forecast contains lots of unusual tones: rich blues, warm olive, and peach, blended with light neutrals like iron and ebony.

It’s the perfect season to spruce up your colors! So here are a few low-cost ways to paint your closet in today’s newest trends.

Radiate optimism.

With everything going on in the world these days, it’s nice to let some optimism shine through. So this fall’s key lesson: don’t be afraid of bright, incandescent color. Our favorite new color is burnt sienna, a mix of dark pink and peach that looks great with any skin tone.

You can also make use of the colors you have. Go ahead, keep that yellow summer shell on the racks as long as you pair it with neutrals and fall-ish shades.
