What is the difference between shape retention and shrinkage?
All clothes can possibly shrink during the wash/dry process, especially when put in a dryer. However, Tide Total Care conditions fibres, helping them move and adapt to your body.
Is Tide Total Care better than dry cleaning?
Tide Total Care is designed to be used for machine washable clothes. As always, it's best to check the label in your garments for the advised method of cleaning. If clothing is machine washable, we recommend washing fabrics in Tide Total Care to help preserve and protect your clothing over time.
Does Tide Total Care work on fabrics other than cotton?
Tide Total Care was formulated to perform on the majority of fabrics, including cotton and cotton blends, the most commonly used fabrics in clothing.
Can I use Tide Total Care on my "dry-fit" athletic clothes?
Tide Total Care's benefits are visible on most fabrics, but due to the unique functionality of "dry-fit" fibres found in many athletic clothes, the products have not yet been formulated for that use. As always, we recommend checking the label in your garments for the advised method of cleaning.
Will Tide Total Care irritate my skin or cause allergic reactions?
Like all laundry products, Tide Total Care was tested to ensure that it will not cause skin issues in the vast majority of cases. However, everyone’s skin is different, and if you observe any irritation while using Total Care or any other Tide product, we advise you to discontinue use. If you are particularly sensitive, we recommend trying Tide Free.
Why is the Tide Total Care bottle larger than regular Tide?
The Tide Total Care bottle contains the same amount of liquid as the equivalent size of Tide Original. The bottle’s innovative design is taller and sleeker than other Tide products.
Why doesn't Tide Total Care say "2X Ultra Tide" like other Tide bottles?
Since Tide Total Care is a new product and will come to market following P&G's liquid laundry detergent compaction initiative, there is no previous 1X concentrated formula to refer back to. Tide Total Care is a compacted formula, just like all other liquid Tide products.
Does Tide Total Care come in a compact formula?
The breakthrough technology found in Tide Total Care is not currently available in a compact formulation.
