LG is taking laundry to the next level with the new TrueCare™ technology.  This innovation offers an efficient and gentle way to care for your clothes while saving you time, water and energy.

The secret behind the new TrueCare™ Technology is LG’s Direct Drive Motor. The Direct Drive Motor has fewer moving parts, which allow for faster and precise positioning.  The action of the drum is more accurate and better controlled allowing the introduction of new and unique washing motions.

Unique Washing Motions

Four new “dance-like” washing motions make up the TrueCare™ technology: Rolling, Stepping, Swinging and Scrubbing. Until now, washers only used one washing motion – Tumbling – to clean your clothes. While the tumbling motion is still a big part of the washing process, the introduction of these additional new motions offer time, water and energy savings and optimal cleaning performance while being gentler on your fabrics.

New Applied Cycles

In addition, three new applied cycles, which use different combination of the TrueCare™ Technology motions to optimize washing performance while saving time, water and energy.

• LG’s new ColdCare™ cycle with TrueCare™ Technology uses cold water to clean your clothes as effectively as the normal cycle that uses hot water.  Using a combination of tumbling, rolling, scrubbing and stepping motions, cold water in your laundry = energy savings, gentler care of your fabrics and enhanced washing performance!

• LG’s new Heavy Duty cycle with TrueCare™ Technology uses a combination of tumbling and stepping to get out the toughest stains in less time while saving water and energy. 

• LG’s enhanced Hand Wash/Wool Cycle uses the TrueCare™ technology swing motion to decrease shrinkage to your clothing.

o ENERGY SAVINGS: The new ColdCare cycle saves over 66% of energy over the normal wash cycle.

o WATER SAVINGS: The Heavy Duty Cycle offers a 22% water savings over leading manufacturer’s Heavy Duty cycle.

o TIME SAVINGS: The Heavy Duty Cycle offers a 18% time savings over leading manufacturer’s Heavy Duty cycle.
